Systema Periodicum
Sulfur | VK67-650E725
The design of the collection finds inspiration in the Periodic Table of chemical elements, known as "Systema Periodicum" in Latin — a seminal construct in modern chemistry, equally revered in physics and various scientific disciplines. Each model of the collection is a distinctive homage to a specific chemical element. It is rooted in scientific heritage, embodies a synthesis of elegance and intellectual rigor, showcasing the connection between artistry and the fundamental elements that shape our understanding of the physical world.
SULFUR (S) – bright yellow solid crystal (in normal conditions) can be found pure near hot springs and volcanic regions in many parts of the world. Sulfur was known in ancient times, being mentioned for its uses in old, ancient Greece, China, and ancient Egypt.
The watch case design made in “bullhead” style – configuration of the crown and chronograph pushers located at 12 o'clock. This configuration offers several advantages:
- Facilitates convenient time reading with no need for rotation.
- Enables comfortable manipulation of chronograph pushers and the crown.
- Mitigates the risk of hand damage often associated with the conventional 3 o'clock crown configuration in standard watches.
The clear, multi-layered dial features metal indexes coated with Super-Luminova, enhancing visibility for easy time reading. The left-direction rotating bezel incorporates a metal-ceramic ring, resistant to scratches and impacts. The case back encapsulates a description of the element, accompanied by its corresponding cell from the table with the symbol.
Pack of genuine leather and silicone straps included in the package. Both straps feature quick-release spring bars, facilitating easy replacement.
Additionally, an integrated solid stainless steel bracelet, silicone and luminous straps are available for separate purchase.
