Anchar
Bronze | 6S21-510O586
This is a true divers' watch dedicated to the fastest submarine in the world. With water resistance up to 30 bar (300 meters), a unidirectional rotating bezel, and a special caseback lock system designed for the toughest underwater conditions. The self-designed streamlined case is 48.6 mm in diameter, contains a multilayer dial with metal indexes and unique Swiss-made tritium tubes on the inner ring and hands. Unlike traditional Super-LumiNova, tritium illumination provides maximum readability in darkness. Tritium tubes do not require any charging by sunlight, are maintenance-free, and guarantee non-stop luminosity for at least 10 years.
All components are designed to offer comfort for both everyday wear and professional diving. This timepiece is a perfect blend of history, design, and modern engineering.
Package set includes both integrated silicone and genuine leather straps. The strap is securely attached to the case by a steel tube and two TORX screws and can be easily replaced using the included 2 screwdrivers.
Each model is packed in a shockproof and water-resistant VE DryBox L, which can be used not only for storing the watch but also for holding valuable and important items as a protected case.
The K-162 "Anchar" submarine, NATO classification "Papa class", was launched in 1969. It reached a world record speed of 44.7 knots (82.8 km/h / 51 mpg) during test trials in the 1970's, which it holds to this day. Decommissioned in 1988.
This timepiece is fully crafted from genuine bronze, known for its excellent machinability and superior case construction standards. Due to its composition of copper and tin, the metal naturally oxidizes over time, resulting in a captivating "patina" that emerges after several weeks of wear. Patina pattern makes each piece unique with distinct case colorization that will be personal for every owner.
